1985-1998: At seven years old, Ricchetti joined the youth-system of famed-Argentine club River Plate. He remained with the club for 14 years, advancing to the first team in 1996 and making his first-team debut for River Plate in Feb. 1998 versus Lanus…After six months as a regular including playing in Copa Libertadores games, filling in for Hernan Diaz who had been away with the National Team, he was transferred to Colon.
International
Was a member of the Argentina U-20 team in 1996-97…also took part in the U-23 team's pre-Olympic games in 2000 under head coach Jose Pekerman.
