Acquired

2005 MLS SuperDraft - 1st Round (6th Overall). The pick was acquired from San Jose on Jan. 14, 2005 along midfielders Richard Mulrooney and Arturo Alvarez and SJ's 29th pick in the SuperDraft (later traded to Chicago) in exchange for midfielder Brad Davis, an allocation and the 4th overall pick in 2005. SJ used the 4th pick to select midfielder Danny O'Rourke, while Chicago used the 29th pick to select forward Chris Rolfe.

Professional Experience

2007: Led the team with 28 regular season starts, the most in his MLS career… Played in 34 of the 37 games in all competitions, tying Alvarez' and one behind Dominic Oduro…Started the first game of the season at center back. In the second game of the year, he started at right back, where he started for 24 of the next 25 regular season games before returning to start at center back in the final two games of the season…He was moved to center back twice during games due to injuries to Clarence Goodson on 6/3 at HOU and 10/6 at CLB.
