Originally signed on loan from El Nacional on April 28, 2005. Was re-signed on Feb. 22, 2006.

Professional Experience

2006: Finished tied for fourth on the team with three goals scored in 16 games, playing mostly as a forward and at times attacking from the wings…Scored the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute of the 2-1 win vs. CHV on 6/11. That goal was the 10th of his career in a Dallas uniform, making him the 14th player in team history to have scored 10 or more goals…was forced to the sidelines on 7/4 vs. DC with an injury…underwent surgery to repair the meniscus in his left knee on 7/12 and missed the remainder of the regular season…at the time of his injury, had been one of four FCD players that had played in each of the first 16 games…he returned to training in early October in an attempt to be ready for the 2006 MLS Cup Playoffs but did not see any action.

2005: Made his MLS and FC Dallas debut coming in as a sub in a 2-0 loss to LA on 4/30…Scored his first MLS in extra time in his second game, a 5-2 win over Chivas USA at The Home Depot Center on 5/22..Had back-back two-goal games in September, scoring twice in a 2-1 win over RSL on 9/18 and again three days later in a 4-1 win over LA on 9/21…Scored six of his seven goals at home.

2004: With El Nacional of the Ecuadorian First Division, playing in 20 matches and recording one goal.

2002-2003: Signed with Huracan of the Argentinean Second Division at 16 years old, playing primarily in the youth system and advancing to the reserve team…at 17, joined Emelec of the Ecuadorian First Division, playing two games and then returned to Huracan at 18.

International

Made full-national team debut in 2005, and played numerous games for Ecuador in 2006 World Cup qualifying games…Had four caps with the U-23 team in 2004 including the Olympic Qualification tournament in Chile prior to the 2004 Athens Games …From 1999-2003, appeared in 78 matches with the U-15, U-17 & U-20 National Teams, scoring 19 goals…played in the U-20 World Cup held in Argentina in 2001….
