Rowland out 4-6 weeks with torn meniscus

FRISCO, Texas -- FC Dallas forward Jeff Rowland underwent surgery on Thursday to repair a torn medial meniscus in his right knee. He is expected to be out of action for at least 4-6 weeks.
Rowland injured his knee in a collision at practice last week. He was signed to the Developmental Roster on Sept. 12 after spending the summer with the Wilmington Hammerheads of the United Soccer League's Second Division.
FC Dallas plays its final home regular season on Sat. Oct. 11 versus Toronto FC at Pizza Hut Park at 7:30 p.m. CT, live on Fox Soccer Channel.
